Decentralized intelligence makes modular machine construction considerably easier. Each module operates independently and supplies adjacent modules — including the central control system, if necessary — with greatly simplified data with easy-to-use and service-oriented interfaces for control purposes. The Turck 34Pins fischertechnik control module can be used with four different stations. The system is made plug and play and in a complete factory there will be 4 smaller PLC’s in stead of one main PLC.
